I have to say that Microsoft’s polish of Vista to turn it in to Windows 7 was remarkable. I love Windows 7. After years of playing with Linux and other OS, I can say that my main machine will be Windows 7. It is fast and easy and I just don’t have the time to mess with a Linux setup. When Windows 7 releases this fall I can say that I will be buying more than one copy.

Goal: To Develop a few android programs that I really want and enter them in to Google’s ADC2.
The Problem: Other than a few programming classes in college and some basic Html, php and MySql. I am a total newbie at programming complete applications.
The biggest key idea is that if you want to program in android you must learn Java first. ( If your an expert C developer, then you might be ok too).
My Plan:
Learn the Eclipse IDE
Learn Java
Learn Android
Write Android Apps
Win ADC2
Simple enough, Lets get started.

It just randomly looses all signal. If it toggle airplane mode on then off it works again for a few hours. I took to the t-mo store and they gave me a new sim card. But that didn’t help.
I factory reset the phone. This seems to have helped with the frequency that it happens but it still happens. Just it seems to work for a 3-5 hours before needing a toggle VS before it needed one every hour.

I have been using Windows 7 exclusively now for about a month. I can say that I love it. I did run accross an issue the other day that confused the hell out of me.
I was trying to download an updated version of the Free AVG software, and my Graphics drivers. I could see them downloading, but once complete this files would disappear. After some research I found a similar issue that others had after upgrading or uninstalling AVG FREE. I never put the two together.
A few days before I tried to upgrade the version I had of AVG to the new 8.5 Version. The Upgrade Failed and I lost the program...

I have been playing around with Magento for a while now. I have to say that I am pretty happy with it and I think I will be migrating my sites over to it. The site is a bit resource intensive, but I think my server will do for now. As traffic builds on my site, I will have be moving to a cloud.

I own over 30 domains and I have used several web hosts over the years. I now still use more than one host just so I don’t keep all my eggs in one basket.
My main host is 1&1 Hosting. They host the majority of my websites. They offer a great vaule and give me the rights to do what I need. Their customer service is the only thing that is lacking, but it is getting better. I have been with them for years and have had very little down time.
I have been doing some testing on my 1&1 Hosting account with Magento. The site runs pretty fast, but I will be moving to a more dedicated...

This is Part 3 you can catch up.
Part 1: GM 6.5L Diesel Stalling, now Won’t start.
Part 2: GM 6.5L Diesel Stalling, Won’t start. – Now FIXED in 10mins
I fixed the won’t start issue months ago and the truck was running fine. Now I go out to start it up and it won’t start. I can hear the lift pump running, but it sounds diffrent and runs for longer than normal.
I figured with over 300,000 miles I should replace the lift pump anyway. The local parts place had it in stock for about $50, but I am still not sure what is wrong.
I wait till the weekend and try the truck again....
