My 9-5 job requires me to find other business=
that can do a job that my company doesn’t want to manage or doesn’t have t=
he resources to manage it.
Now that I have been working on "Getting=
things done" for my personal life, I have found the need to delegate =
some of my projects I will not have time for.
So I set out to find a per=
sonal assistant. I have used most of the freelance boards out there, but I=
really like oDesk for hourly work.
I placed a job ad and with in severa=
l minutes I have people bidding on the job.
I now have 2 personal assist=
ants. One in India and one in the Philippines that can do the things I don=
‘t have time for

You can read about my issues Here,

I order a remote mount PMD from Pensacola Diesel for $279 to try and fix the problem.
The new PMD came with a 6′ extension cable, Resistor, Heatsink, zip ties and the new PMD.

The 6′ cable is the key to making this a 10 min fix on the truck.   I left the old PMD in place and simply disconnected the harness cable (the hardest part) and Plugged it in to the new harness extension. I ran the new cable down to the bumper (making sure that it clears all moving or hot parts).  I dropped in the resistor, bolted the new heat sink/PMD to the bumper, and plugged in the harness. I then turned the key and it fired right up.  I have put about 100 miles on the new PMD and have no problems yet.

Took about 10 mins total.

I hope to write a new post soon with pictures and more details.

I agree that there is a problem with F1. I live in the USA and I record most of the races and watch them later in the day. I fully admit that I have started to fast forward though a lot of the race. I also ask my self why?

Well I think Michael Schumacher has alot to do with it. Ferrari and Schumacher have dominated F1 for so long, that it has become an institution and frankly many of the races were Boring, but we watched in amazement to see if they could continue their streak. If Schumacher was not winning then he was a threat and made it interesting, and if he was out of the race we got a surprise winner in the end. In the past, every race was a win win for lot of fans. If Schumacher won, we were amazed that he did it again, if he lost it was a surprise and we still enjoyed the race.

Now, even though this has been an exciting year with many different lead changes, every time I press play I am pretty much set to watch Ferrari or Mclaren run away with a win. The victories by Ferrari or Mclaren are so much, that it is not fun to watch. Even with BMW catching up. For me it seems like it is just a 2 team race anymore and none of the drivers excite me. I don’t have anyone to root for.

The lack of any real driver interviews about what happened during the race also leave be a bit empty and not really involved. I can’t even root for the underdog as no media covers their story. The teams secretive nature does not allow one to get to know and like any one team or driver.

Other issue for me are:

1. I live in the USA and there is no F1 race here anymore.

2. There are no American Drivers to root for ( not F1’s fault)

One of my Vehicles Currently in my stable is a 1994 GMC 2500 6.5l Turbo Diesel.  It has about 300,000 miles on it.  The truck is on loan to be from my father, (Thanks Dad).

A few weeks ago it started stalling right after start up.  After starting and stalling a few times it would run fine.
Last week it started stalling while I was driving
This weekend it would not start.

I went to google what could be wrong. What did I find?
Basically the GM 6.5l Diesel has this issue with stalling.  It can be one of several issues, but it is most likely the PMD (Pump Mounted Driver).

The Lift Pump is working and I am getting fuel out of the T fitting. So I placed my order for a new PMD and relocation Kit.  it should come in this weekend and I should get the truck running.  I will share how things work out.

I am getting married in less than 2 weeks.  Then I will be on my honeymoon for a while.  That is my excuse for not writing more.   Hopefully I will get back in to the swing of things soon.

We are just beginning to develop code for a ground breaking site.
As much as I hate to say it, this site will be a web 2.0 styled site.
The focus of the site will be Group Buys and Classifieds, but with a new
twist.
You will just have to wait and see.

We were going to make a site that was very flashy and less functional,
but smarter heads prevailed.
We are predicting that the Alpha and Beta sites will be very plain
graphically.
The Plain approach worked for Craigslist and Myspace, we might as well
try it.
Keep an eye out for our press release, or Check back in a few weeks to
see what we have added.
The Link to get on the waiting list for the Private Beta trial will be
coming soon.
